Responsibilities
- Proper and safe operation of shuttle buses
- Transporting passengers efficiently, safely, and seamlessly
- Answering questions and offering city directions
- Ensuring each customer interaction is a positive experience
- Performing vehicle inspections
- Maintaining cleanliness of bus interiors
- Fueling of buses
- Logging trip counts
- Assisting disabled passengers
- Being at work every scheduled day, on time, and in uniform
- Possessing a valid state-issued driver’s license
- Maintaining an acceptable DMV record
- Reporting any known accidents, violations, safety hazards, or unusual occurrences to the Facility Manager
- Communicating debris, water, oil spills, and other issues to the garage office
- Substituting for Cashiers or Valets, if authorized
- Having thorough knowledge of all areas of the garage and major streets in the area
- Aiding customers with luggage and other traveling items, if applicable
- Assisting Facility Manager with other duties as needed
Qualifications
- Less than High School education or one month related experience, training, or an equivalent combination of education and experience
- A valid CDL Class A, B, or C Driver’s License with Passenger Endorsement
- A DOT Medical Card
- Availability to work special shifts, including 3rd shift and weekends, if applicable
- Ability to read, comprehend instructions, and write simple correspondence
- Mathematical skills to add, subtract, multiply, and divide with units of American money
- Physical ability to stand, walk, use hands, and occasionally lift up to 75 pounds
Salary Range
$32.00 per hour
