Responsibilities
- Proper and safe operation of shuttle buses
- Transporting passengers efficiently, safely, and seamlessly
- Performing vehicle inspections
- Maintaining cleanliness of bus interiors
- Fueling buses
- Logging trip counts
- Aiding disabled passengers
- Being present at work every scheduled day, on time, and in uniform
- Possessing a valid state-issued driver’s license
- Maintaining an acceptable DMV record
- Reporting any accidents, violations, safety hazards, or unusual occurrences to the Facility Manager
- Communicating debris, water, oil spills, and other issues to the garage office
- Substituting for Cashiers or Valets when authorized
- Assisting customers with luggage and other traveling items, if applicable
- Assisting Facility Manager with other duties as needed
Qualifications
- Less than high school education or one month related experience, training, or an equivalent combination of education and experience
- A valid CDL Class A, B Driver’s License with Passenger Endorsement
- A DOT Medical Card
- Availability to work special shifts, including 3rd shift and weekends, if required
- Ability to read, understand instructions, and write simple correspondence
- Basic mathematical skills, including adding, subtracting, multiplying, and dividing
- Physical demands: standing, walking, handling cash and equipment, sitting, climbing, balancing, lifting up to 75 pounds, and occasional bending, reaching, and kneeling
