CDL Shuttle Driver (DOT)

Responsibilities

• Proper and safe operation of shuttle buses
• Transporting passengers efficiently, safely, and seamlessly
• Ensuring passengers reach their destinations
• Performing vehicle inspections
• Maintaining cleanliness of bus interiors
• Fueling buses
• Logging trip counts
• Aiding disabled passengers
• Being present at work every scheduled day, on time, and in uniform
• Carrying a valid state-issued driver’s license at all times while on duty
• Maintaining an acceptable DMV record
• Reporting any accidents, violations, safety hazards, or unusual occurrences to the Facility Manager
• Communicating debris, water, oil spills, and other issues to the garage office
• Substituting for Cashiers or Valets when authorized
• Assisting customers with luggage and other traveling items, if applicable
• Assisting Facility Manager with other duties as needed

Qualifications

• Less than high school education or one month related experience, training, or an equivalent combination of education and experience
• A valid CDL Class A, B, or C Driver’s License with Passenger Endorsement
• A DOT Medical Card
• Availability to work special shifts, including 3rd shift and weekends, if applicable
• Ability to read, comprehend instructions, short correspondence, and memos
• Ability to write simple correspondence
• Ability to present information in one-on-one situations to customers and other employees
• Ability to perform basic mathematical operations
• Physical ability to stand, walk, use hands, and occasionally lift up to 75 pounds

Salary Range

$21.10 - $22.30 per hour (+ tips)
