CDL Field Manager

About the role

The CDL Field Manager is responsible for overseeing the safe operation of company vehicles, ensuring compliance with all regulations, and managing the logistics of vehicle maintenance and fueling.

Responsibilities

• Oversee the safe operation of company vehicles
• Ensure compliance with all federal, state, and local regulations
• Manage vehicle maintenance schedules and ensure timely repairs
• Coordinate fueling and delivery logistics
• Train and mentor drivers in safe driving practices
• Handle customer inquiries and complaints related to vehicle operations

Requirements

• Valid CDL with appropriate endorsements
• At least 2 years of commercial driving experience
• Strong knowledge of traffic laws and safety protocols
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work flexible hours including nights and weekends

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration or related field preferred
• Experience in fleet management or similar field
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite
