Essential Functions
- Fully understand how to operate and safely drive your assigned vehicle.
- Plan routes to ensure the most economical use of time and equipment.
- Drive vehicles with a Gross Vehicle Weight (GVW) over 26,000 lbs.
- Pick up and safely transport goods to intended destinations.
- Ensure contents are properly secured to prevent damage or injury.
- Obtain signatures to confirm and complete deliveries.
- Auxiliary tasks include assisting in mapping driving routes, performing routine inspections and preventive maintenance on assigned equipment, notifying management of maintenance or delivery issues, and tracking and reporting working hours.
- Communicate with dispatch as needed.
- Confirm that shipment contents match the manifest.
- Check weather and road conditions prior to departure.
- Maintain cleanliness of vehicles at all times.
- Maintain and service vehicle (fuel, oil, tire pressure, etc.).
- Operate a forklift (Class I–VII) to move materials as needed.
- Load and unload trucks safely and efficiently.

Requirements
- High school diploma or GED.
- Minimum of 1 year of relevant experience or equivalent combination of education and experience.
- Valid CDL Class A License.
- Clean driving record.
- Skilled in operating large, heavy vehicles.
- Must pass DOT drug tests and physical examinations.
- Must pass the company driver’s test.
- Physically and mentally fit with strong stamina.
- Strong navigation and route planning skills.
- Ability to work independently.
- Must be able to obtain forklift certification (Class I–VII).
