CDL Driver

Job Summary

We are seeking a qualified, dependable Class A Truck Driver to join our delivery team. In this role, you will be responsible for safely transporting products & supplies from our production facilities, transporting the load to the job site or office location, and aiding in unloading the shipment when you arrive.

Responsibilities

• Map delivery routes to ensure timely deliveries
• Pick-up loads, organize goods in the truck, and secure packages
• Transport pallet goods and packages from place of origin to assigned destination
• Obtain signatures or warehouse scans to confirm and complete deliveries
• Communicate with dispatch as needed
• Maintain and service vehicle as needed (refuel, check oil, tire pressure, minor repairs, etc.)
• Complete daily pre-trip, during trip, and post-trip inspection as required
• Track and report working hours
• Adequately adhere to company rules and regulations
• Obey all applicable traffic laws and drive according to the weather/road conditions
• Other duties as assigned

Experience And Qualifications

• A high school diploma or GED equivalent preferred
• A valid Class A commercial driver's license required
• MUST have step deck experience
• 6+ months of driving a class A or larger truck a plus
• Good driving record with minimal moving violations
• Experience operating warehouse equipment, such as electric lifts, hand trucks, and pallet jacks a plus
• Able to lift 50 pounds
• Must pass a DOT Physical, background check, and drug test
