CDL Driver

Primary Responsibilities

• Transporting materials throughout the facility using trailers and box-trucks.
• Maintaining safe conditions for co-workers and other ground personnel.
• Ensuring safe transport of materials, including proper securing of all loads before transport.
• Performing other work functions within the plant as needed.

Qualifications

• CDL Class A license.
• At least 2 years of over-the-road driving experience.
• Aged 23 years or older.
• Complies with all DOT regulations.
• Excellent attendance record.
• Strong safety-focused attitude.
• Effective communication skills.
• Willingness to work as a team.
• Ability to lift up to 60 lbs.
• Physical ability to meet the demands of the position.

About the Role

NVR-Thurmont is seeking a delivery driver to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a CDL Class A license, at least 2 years of over-the-road driving experience, and be 23 years of age or older. They should be familiar with DOT regulations, possess excellent communication and teamwork skills, and be able to lift up to 60 lbs. This position involves transporting materials within the Thurmont Plant and ensuring a safe working environment for all team members.

Pay

The starting pay for this position is $27.35 per hour.

Schedule

This is a day shift position, running from 5:00 AM to 1:30 PM, Monday through Friday.
