CDL Driver

Job Summary

We are seeking a reliable and safety-focused CDL Driver to support our landscaping and snow operations. This role is responsible for operating CDL-required vehicles to transport equipment and materials to and from job sites while maintaining compliance with DOT regulations.

Key Responsibilities

• Safely operate CDL vehicles including dump trucks, plow trucks, and trailers
• Transport landscaping materials and equipment to job sites
• Perform daily pre-trip and post-trip inspections and report any issues
• Maintain accurate driver logs, timesheets, and required DOT documentation
• Load and secure materials and equipment properly
• Assist crews on-site as needed (loading, unloading, light labor)
• Follow all safety procedures, traffic laws, and company policies
• Communicate clearly with dispatch and operations during the workday
• Participate in snow and ice management operations during winter storms (including nights, weekends, and holidays)

Qualifications

• Valid CDL Class A or B license (with air brake endorsement if required)
• Valid DOT Medical Card
• Pass MVR Review
• Pass DOT Required Drug Screen
• Ability to operate manual and automatic transmissions
• Experience hauling trailers and operating plow equipment preferred
• Knowledge of DOT regulations and safety standards
• Ability to work flexible hours, weekends (to include overtime), and on-call during snow events
• Strong work ethic, reliability, and attention to detail
• Ability to lift/push/pull/carry up to 50 lbs as required by job duties
• Ability to work in varying weather conditions
• PREFERRED: Experience in landscaping, construction, or snow removal; equipment operation (skid steer, loader, or similar); basic mechanical knowledge or ability to identify equipment issues
