CDL Driver
About the role
We are hiring a CDL Driver (Open) in Oregon City, OR. This position is open to candidates who meet the required qualifications.
Responsibilities
- Safety and Vehicle Compliance: Maintain a safe driving record, appropriate licensing, adhere to company safety policies, use PPE, and identify workplace hazards.
- Delivery and Logistics: Load and unload service trucks, perform timely deliveries, ensure accurate load documents, and collect customer payments.
- Administrative Tasks: Maintain required records, identify potential cylinder issues, pull orders from the warehouse, and assist with inventory management.
- General Duties: Provide customer support, handle occasional overtime, weekends, and holidays, and assist with on-call duties.
Requirements
- Valid Class A or B CDL with HAZMAT & Airbrake endorsements
- Hazmat is required
- No more than two (2) traffic convictions in the last 3 years or a combination of one (1) traffic conviction and one (1) at-fault accident in the last 3 years
- No driving while under the influence of alcohol or a controlled substance within the last seven (7) years
- Able to work in a drug-free environment
- Able to lift 75lbs and move more than 125lbs with the aid of material handling equipment
- One year of CDL driving experience in the last 5 years or proof of a certificate of completion from trucking school completed in the last 12 months
Qualifications
- Appropriate driver’s license, medical card & endorsements
- Forklift experience preferred
- One year of CDL experience preferred
