CDL Class B Driver – Passenger Endorsement| Home Daily

Location: Montgomery College, Rockville, MD

Pay Rate: $21.00 per hour

About the Role

Propark Mobility is currently hiring Shuttle Drivers for full-time and part-time opportunities to start immediately. Home every night — no overnights! Passenger and bus routes, not freight.

Responsibilities

• Drives shuttle bus and transports customers to and from the facility.
• Greets passengers and provides assistance with loading and unloading.
• Operates the shuttle bus in a safe and efficient manner and complies with all traffic and safety regulations.
• Monitors vehicle condition and records malfunctioning items or damage on appropriate forms.
• Communicates with dispatchers, drivers, and other employees using a two-way radio system to communicate routes, announce arrivals and delays, coordinate pick-up of customers, or handle other vehicle or customer issues that arise.
• Conducts pre/post trip inspections of the shuttle buses at the beginning and end of shift to ensure sound operating conditions.
• Monitors traffic and weather conditions and notifies dispatch or supervisor of potential problems.
• Reports accidents or other safety situations to dispatch or supervisor.
• Treats all customers in a courteous, friendly, and professional manner.

Requirements

• You are at least 21 years old.
• You have a valid driver's license and have been driving for at least 3 years.
• You have a B commercial driver's license (CDL) with a passenger endorsement.
• You have the ability to operate a passenger van safely and efficiently.
• You have the ability to work flexible hours, evenings, and weekends.
• Energetic, outgoing, and can stand, run, and carry items up to 50 lbs if needed.
• Great communicator in both written and spoken language, with a friendly, professional approach to everyone you meet.
• Thrive in a fast-paced environment and can help resolve customer issues in a positive and helpful way.

Preferred Qualifications

• Customer service experience (1 year+).
• Experience driving a shuttle bus or commercial vehicle (1 year+).

Physical Demands and Working Conditions

The noise level in this work environment can range from minimal to moderate.
