CDL-B Truck Driver Local
Local CDL-B Truck Driver positions available at our Tucson, AZ Service Center.
About the role
As a City P&D Driver you will handle daily city delivery and pickup of freight, returning to the terminal each day. The role involves multiple stops per shift, using scan equipment, interacting directly with customers, and performing liftgate deliveries with an electric pallet jack and/or dolly.
Pay
$26.94 per hour.
Schedule
Full-time, Monday – Friday with various shifts available. Drivers are home every day.
Responsibilities
- City delivery and pickup of freight
- Multiple daily stops
- Use of scan equipment
- Direct customer interaction
- Liftgate deliveries using electric pallet jack and/or dolly
Requirements
- CDL Class B License
- Good driving record / clean MVR
- Ability to deliver excellent customer service
- Strong problem-solving skills
- Physical ability to bend, lift, and stoop without difficulty
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience making deliveries in a commercial vehicle in cities and small towns
- Experience using a lift gate and pallet jack
