CDL-A Shuttle Driver - $5k sign-on DOE

About the role

Our Shuttle Drivers play a crucial part in moving, supplying, and providing for America's favorite brands. They ensure the safe and efficient transportation of full trailers to destinations and empty trailers back to the Distribution Center.

Responsibilities

• Inspect the rig for defects pre- and post-trip and submit DOT inspection reports.
• Ensure product is securely loaded inside the trailer for undamaged transport.
• Maintain driver log (Manual or PeopleNet) according to DOT regulations.
• May perform line haul and/or backhaul as needed.
• Work safely to prevent injury to people and damage to products.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Qualifications

• At least 21 years of age.
• Valid Class A commercial driver's license (CDL-A).
• At least 1 year or 50,000 verifiable miles of tractor trailer driving experience.
• Meet McLane's MVR and risk rating qualifications.
• The ability to read, write, and understand English at a level sufficient to perform job-related tasks effectively and safely.

Benefits

• Pay Rate: Average $80,000 to $85,000 per year.
• Sign-on bonus: Up to $5,000, depending on experience.
• Run 5 days per week, off on Tuesdays & Saturdays.
