CDL-A Shuttle Driver - $5k sign-on DOE
About the role
This Shuttle Driver position is responsible for delivering full trailers to customer domiciles and returning empty trailers to the Distribution Center. Benefits include competitive pay, strong client relationships, and safe transportation.
Responsibilities
- Inspect the rig for defects pre- and post-trip and submit DOT inspection report.
- Ensure product is securely loaded inside the trailer for undamaged transport.
- Maintain driver log (Manual or PeopleNet) according to DOT regulations.
- May perform line haul and/or backhaul as needed.
- Work safely to prevent injury to people and damage to products.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
Requirements
- At least 21 years of age.
- Valid Class A Commercial Driver’s License (CDL-A).
- At least 1 year or 50,000 verifiable miles of tractor trailer driving experience.
- Meet McLane's MVR and risk rating qualifications.

Pay and Schedule
The Pay Rate for Shuttle Drivers is $80,000 to $85,000 per year. A sign-on bonus of up to $5,000 is available, depending on experience. Run 5 days per week, off on Tuesdays and Saturdays. Day 1 benefits include medical, dental, and vision insurance, FSA/HSA and company-paid life insurance, paid holidays, earned vacation time, and sick leave accrual from day one. The 401(k) profit sharing plan becomes available after 90 days.
