CDL-A Shuttle Driver - $5k sign-on DOE

About the role

Pay

Shuttle Drivers average $80,000 to $85,000 per year, with a sign-on bonus of up to $5,000, depending on experience.

Schedule

Run 5 days per week, with Tuesdays and Saturdays off.

Responsibilities

• Inspect the rig for defects pre- and post-trip and submit DOT inspection report
• Ensure that product is secured inside the trailer for undamaged transport
• Maintain driver log (Manual or PeopleNet) according to DOT regulations
• May perform line haul and/or backhaul as needed
• Work safely to prevent injury to people and damage to products
• Other duties as assigned

Requirements

• At least 21 years of age
• Valid Class A commercial driver's license (CDL-A)
• At least 1 year or 50,000 verifiable miles of tractor trailer driving experience
• Meet McLane's MVR and risk rating qualifications
• Ability to read, write, and understand English at a level sufficient to perform job-related tasks safely and effectively, including work instructions, safety protocols, and operational communications
