CDL-A Shuttle Driver - $5k sign-on DOE

About the role

Our Shuttle Drivers play a crucial part in moving, supplying, and providing for America's favorite brands. They ensure reliability and dedication to safety, which has been key to our success as an industry leader for over 130 years.

Responsibilities

• Inspect the rig for defects pre- and post-trip and submit DOT inspection report.
• Ensure product is secured inside the trailer for undamaged transport.
• Maintain driver log (Manual or PeopleNet) according to DOT regulations.
• May at times perform line haul and/or backhaul.
• Work safely to prevent injury to people and damage to products.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Requirements

• At least 21 years of age
• Valid Class A commercial driver's license (CDL-A)
• At least 1 year or 50,000 verifiable miles of tractor trailer driving experience
• Meet McLane's MVR and risk rating qualifications

Pay

The average pay rate for Shuttle Drivers is $80,000 to $85,000 per year. A sign-on bonus of up to $5,000 is available based on experience.

Schedule

Run 5 days per week. Off on Tuesdays & Saturdays. Day 1.
