CDC Commissioner Open Call

About the role

The Capacity Development Commission (CDC) of IFSA coordinates projects and opportunities for IFSA members. Created during the General Assembly in 2018, it integrates different existing Commissions and Sub-Commissions with common goals. The CDC is one of two Commissions within the Internal Department of IFSA, focusing on creating spaces for members to develop soft skills and learn topics often overlooked in traditional education. The Commission, alongside its Sub-Commissions, develops learning content and activities such as training sessions, workshops, and interactive spaces.

The Capacity Development Commission is managed by the Head of Capacity Development Commission and overseen, together with the Communication Commission, by the Internal Councilor.

Responsibilities

• Schedule and organize Commission meetings.
• Ensure all goals of the Commission are met.
• Stay in touch with the Internal Councilor on all matters related to the Commission.
• Report regularly about the work of the CDC to the IFSA Board.
• Oversee and supervise the work of the Heads of Sub-Commission and Commissioners.
• Directly support Heads of Sub-Commission (HoSCs) in their tasks and connect them with necessary resources.
• Perform tasks that the HoSC is unable to complete.
• Ensure teamwork and good communication within the Commission.

Requirements

• You must be a member of an IFSA Local Committee and either be an active student or have graduated no longer than one year ago.
• Good internet connection, as all work is done remotely.
• Access to a computer or tablet.

Schedule
