About the role
The CCTV Repair Technician will oversee the facility and be responsible for maintenance and repair of the company's robotic camera equipment.
Responsibilities
- Plans and coordinates tasks and activities of robotic camera equipment
- Performs preventive maintenance inspections and service on robotic camera equipment
- Thoroughly cleans machines and machine parts, removing parts and reinstalling as necessary
- Oils and lubricates moving parts on machines to ensure effective performance
- Records and reports damaged, worn, or broken parts to managers
- Orders and installs replacement parts for machines
- Identifies the causes of unexpected breakdowns of machines
- Repairs broken machines quickly and efficiently
- Prepares reports documenting work performed
- Cleans, organizes, inventories, stocks, and otherwise maintains shop areas, parts, tools, and supplies
- Coordinates with managers to schedule regular maintenance on machines
- Makes necessary modifications and implements tests runs; confers with manager regarding test results and makes additional alterations to machinery as required
- Will provide in-house and in-field training as necessary
- Performs other related duties as assigned

- Proficient with computer diagnostic equipment and software
Education and Experience
- High school diploma or equivalent required
- Five years of related experience preferred
- Vocational or technical school training preferred
Physical Requirements
- Must be able to physically perform repairs
- Must be able to work safely in a noisy area with many odors present
- Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds at a time
- Good vision to inspect repair work
- Must be able to bend, stretch, kneel, and squat to perform repairs and inspections
Schedule
This is a full-time, non-exempt position. Days and hours of work are typically Monday through Friday and includes shift work, weekends, evenings, holidays — flexibility is required as job duties demand.
Pay
$68,000.00 – $80,000.00, depending on position qualifications, job related skills and experience, education, certifications, and geographic location.
