Qualifications

• Holds a current state license and maintains license renewal in accordance with the standards of the State Board of Nursing
• Mets all state specific education/competency requirements for Nursing Leader
• Minimum of three years of progressive leadership experience that is comparable to the Chief Clinical Officer’s authority and responsibility, the education and experience of peer leadership positions and commensurate with the scope and complexity of the hospital
• Five years experience of nursing care (critical care preferred), treatment experience with the complex medical, surgical patient population, and comprehensive acute medical and therapeutic/rehabilitative care management
• Able to develop, plan, and implement programs
• Excellent communication skills, both interpersonal and written
• Strong leadership, managerial, and effective time management skills, as well as, profit/loss experience
• Functions independently in relation to decision making, planning, analysis, and problem resolution with input from appropriate leaders
• Must be able to read, write, and speak English
• Intermediate computer skills
