CBA Avionics Technician III - (F-18 Phase) - NTWP Naval Test Wing China Lake, CA

Responsibilities

• Solve complex technical problems requiring advanced knowledge
• Evaluate electromagnetic radiation and isolate malfunctions
• Make circuit analyses, calculate wave forms, trace signal flow
• Use complex test instruments like high frequency pulse generators
• Provide technical guidance to lower level technicians
• Direct Level I or II work center personnel for specific maintenance actions

Requirements

• High school graduate or equivalent
• Minimum 10 years USN/USMC/USCG O-Level CNAFINST 4790.2 (series) aircraft maintenance support experience
• At least 2 years of T/M/S aircraft maintenance experience
• Experience as T/M/S applicable Plane Captain, T/M/S Data Analyst, QASO Flight Deck Coordinator
• Experience as QAR, CDI, CDQAR, Work Center Supervisor
• Knowledge of automatic flight control systems, stabilization systems, weapons integration systems, and fuel quantity systems
• Valid driver’s license
• U.S. Secret Clearance
• Available to work any shift
• U.S. Citizen
