Skills

  • Advanced electronic principles and circuit analysis
  • Interpretation of schematic diagrams, engineering drawings, and charts
  • Excellent soldering and harness/wiring skills
  • Working knowledge of aircraft communications/navigation and instrument systems
  • Knowledge of all standard test equipment and maintenance procedures
  • Working knowledge of technical orders and maintenance forms

Qualifications

  • In-depth working knowledge of CNAFINST 4790.2 and NAVINST 3710.1 series and all applicable technical publications
  • High school degree or equivalent
  • Minimum 5 years US Navy/USMC/USCG O-Level CNAFINST 4790.2 aircraft maintenance support experience
  • Minimum 3 years T/M/S aircraft maintenance experience
  • Experience as T/M/S CDI or CDQAR
  • Secret security clearance

Responsibilities

  • Performs scheduled/unscheduled O-Level maintenance on specific applicable T/M/S aircraft Egress, Environmental and related systems
  • Performs flight line essential services as directed to daily Flight Schedule
  • Routine lifting in excess of OSHA standards is required
  • Routine ordnance loading will require team lifts of ordnance items up to 167 pounds’ load share per team member, in accordance with standard USN procedures
  • Directs Level I work center personnel to accomplish specific maintenance actions as required
  • Performs operational checks, bench checks, troubleshoots, and isolates malfunctions in complex aircraft avionics equipment
  • Repairs or replaces components based on test results following blueprints, schematics, handbooks, and other technical documents
  • Performs calibration, repair and replacement of system components based on test results following blueprints, schematics, handbooks, and other technical documents
  • Practices good housekeeping, tool control, FOD awareness/prevention, and safety at all times
  • Utilizes the OOMA NALCOMIS system in documenting aircraft maintenance actions
  • Obtains all certifications required to perform the job requirements
  • Performs other duties as requested

Compensation
