About the role

Regina Caeli Academy is seeking a part‑time High School Math teacher for the 2026‑27 academic year to teach Trigonometry in a classical and Catholic classroom in Phoenix, AZ. The position involves up to 4 hours of classroom instruction per week, with additional time required for preparation at home. No teaching certification or formal teaching experience is required; the Academy will provide all necessary training.

Responsibilities

• Deliver Trigonometry lessons to high‑school students using a formal Socratic classroom format on Mondays and Thursdays.
• Prepare lesson plans and instructional materials at home in accordance with RCA curriculum and grading guidelines.
• Maintain classroom management and a highly structured learning environment consistent with RCA standards.
• Participate in mandatory training prior to beginning work at the Center.
• Sign an Oath of Fidelity to the Catholic Church and uphold a daily Catholic faith practice, including having received all sacraments appropriate to your state in life.

Qualifications

• Strong communication skills, good organization, and timeliness.
• A traditional view of the student‑teacher relationship.
• Living the Catholic faith day‑to‑day, with all required sacraments received.
• Experience (not required) that may include homeschooling, ministry in a Catholic parish, teaching Religious Education or Catechism, teaching your own children, or experience in a classical or private school setting.
• Ability to pass a clear background check.

Schedule

The Center operates on Mondays and Thursdays from 8:30 am to 3:15 pm. Teaching hours total up to 4 hours per week, with additional preparation time required at home.
