About the role
This position is for a part-time 1st Grade Teacher at Regina Caeli Academy in Carrollton, Texas, for the 2026-27 academic year. No teaching certification or formal experience is required; we will train you.
Responsibilities
- Teach in a classical and Catholic classroom setting.
- Provide instruction in a formal Socratic classroom format on Mondays and Thursdays.
- Prepare lessons at home and come prepared to teach in a structured environment.
- Attend mandatory training on August 10-12, 2026.
- Sign an Oath of Fidelity to the Catholic Church.
- Have a deep love for the Catholic faith and be living it day-to-day, including receiving all sacraments appropriate to your state in life.
Requirements
- Strong communication skills.
- Good organizational abilities.
- Timeliness.
- A traditional view of the student/teacher relationship.
- Available to work from 8:45 am - 3:15 pm on Mondays and Thursdays.
- Willingness to prepare lessons at home.
