Cath Lab Technician FT Days

About the Role

Perform direct and indirect functions in the Cardiac Cath Lab, assisting physicians and staff with cardiovascular procedures, and managing invasive and interventional cases.

Responsibilities

• Assess patient physical, psychosocial, and developmental needs before, during, and after procedures.
• Develop and implement individualized care plans, providing patient and family education.
• Perform imaging procedures, including x-ray setup, imaging, storing, and printing images.
• Monitor and assist with cardiac devices such as IABP and pacemakers.
• Function in various procedural roles: scrubbing, monitoring, and circulating.
• Manage inventory and respond effectively to emergency situations.

Requirements

• Associate degree in Radiology or equivalent.
• BLS certification required; ACLS within 6 months of hire.
• Preferred: 6 months experience in Cath Lab or cardiac intervention.
• Required certifications: BLS; preferred: RCIS certification.
• Technical proficiency in imaging, cardiac device setup, and emergency response.
