Baylor Scott & White The Heart Hospital – Denton is seeking a Cardiovascular Invasive Specialist/Cath Lab Tech for the Invasive Cardiology department. This is a full-time day shift position with rotating days off. STEMI and on-call requirements apply (varied per location).

Responsibilities

• STEMI and on-call required (varied per location).

Requirements

• Graduate of an RCIS, RCES or ARRT R program within 6 months of hire.
• ACLS (ACLS) within 30 days of hire/transfer.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) within 30 days of hire/transfer.
• Education: Associate degree (Associate's or 2 years of work experience above the minimum qualification).
• Certification: ARRT-R Radiography (ARRT-R) AND MRT with TMB, Cert Cardiac Device Spec (CCDS), Cert EP Specialist (CEPS), Reg Cardio Electrophysiology (RCES), or Reg Cardiovascular Invasive Sp (RCIS).

Preferred Qualifications

• Prior hospital experience in a procedural setting (IR, EP, or Cath Lab).
• Certification in one of the following: RCIS, RCES, or ARRT R.
• Open to a new grad but would prefer someone with at least 1.5 years of experience.

Education and Certification Qualifications

• ACLS (ACLS) within 30 days of hire/transfer.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) within 30 days of hire/transfer.
• Education: Associate degree.
• Certification: ARRT-R Radiography (ARRT-R) AND MRT with TMB, Cert Cardiac Device Spec (CCDS), Cert EP Specialist (CEPS), Reg Cardio Electrophysiology (RCES), or Reg Cardiovascular Invasive Sp (RCIS).

Must meet one of the following: American Registry of Radiologic Tech (ARRT-R) and MRT through TX Medical Board, or Cardio Invasive Spec (RCIS), or Reg Cardiac Electro Spec (RCES), or Cert Electro Spec (CEPS), or Cert Cardiac Device Spec (CCDS).
