Cath Lab/IR Tech - PRN

About the role

The PRN Cath Lab/IR Tech serves as a member of the Cardiovascular and Interventional Services Team assisting in the performance of diagnostic and invasive procedures. Independently function during diagnostic and interventions with minimal supervision.

Responsibilities

• Assist in the performance of diagnostic and invasive procedures under the direction of a physician.
• Independently function during diagnostic and interventions with minimal supervision.

Requirements

• AART or RRT and Active NBRC credential for RRT is required.
• BLS and ACLS is required.

Qualifications

• Technical or Associates in Radiology + ARRT (Radiologic Technologist) + 1 year experience in Cath Lab, Interventional Radiology or Electrophysiology OR
• Associates in Respiratory+ RRT (Respiratory Therapy), Active NBRC Credential for RRT + 1 year experience in Cath Lab, Interventional Radiology or Electrophysiology OR
• Graduate of CVT Program and No Experience OR
• 3 years of Cath Lab, Interventional Radiology or Electrophysiology in lieu of education OR
• RCIS and/or RCES and 1 year of experience in Cath Lab, Interventional Radiology or Electrophysiology in lieu of education.

Skills

• Knowledge of medical terminology.
• Ability to operate equipment used in diagnostic and invasive procedures.
• Strong communication skills.
