Cath Lab / IR Tech (Cert) - Cardiac Cath

Award-winning team of dedicated professionals committed to quality, compassion, and community. Under the general direction of the physician (Cardiologist/Radiologist), assists by scrubbing procedures and monitoring physiologic and hemodynamic data.

Responsibilities

• Ensures procedure room is adequately prepared for the procedure.
• Makes sure par level of all instruments and supplies are monitored.
• Participates in departmental staff meetings and performance improvement activities.
• Trains new staff on all aspects of invasive and noninvasive cardiac procedures.
• Prepares power injector and contrast medium.
• Injects contrast during procedures and monitors injector rates/quantity of contrast administered.

Requirements

• ARRT-R and licenses as required by State.
• Previous experience in a Cardiovascular Lab and/or Interventional Radiology preferred.
• Cardiovascular technologist training program with emphasis in invasive cardiology and hemodynamic monitoring preferred.
• BCLS (AHA) required upon hire and maintain current.
• Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS); required within 30 days of hire.
• Proficient computer skills.

Qualifications

• Education: Certified to operate fluoro/pan with Fluoro CA license addendum.

Skills

• Knowledge of cardiovascular procedures and equipment.
• Ability to monitor and manage patient vitals.
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.

Pay

A reasonable compensation estimate for this role, which includes estimated wages, benefits, and other forms of compensation, is $42.01 to $61.30.
