About the role

The Catering Staff will assist the kitchen team in preparing and serving meals, prepping ingredients, maintaining refreshment availability, and ensuring cleanliness and sanitation in the kitchen area.

Responsibilities

• Work with production catering staff to prepare meals, prep ingredients, and serve production meals.
• Maintain refreshment availability, including beverages.
• Ensure maintenance, cleanliness, and sanitation of the kitchen area and working station; clean and sanitize surfaces, tools, and utensils.
• Stock all necessary supplies after production.
• Safely and correctly operate all kitchen equipment.
• Handle food pickups as needed and ensure all food items are in stock.
• Assist with other catering and kitchen tasks as required.

Requirements

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• 0-2 years of related work experience; restaurant industry experience preferred.
• Ability to multi-task and perform in a fast-paced environment.
• Ability to work safely with a variety of kitchen equipment.
• Good interpersonal and communication skills.
• Ability to lift up to approximately 25 lbs.
• Bilingual (English/Spanish) preferred.
• ServSafe Food Safety certification.

Pay

$17.00 - $18.00 per hour.
