Catering Sales Coordinator

Job Summary

Responsible for clerical functions and administrative support of the Catering Sales Department.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

• Answer telephones and direct inquiries in a professional and client centric manner.
• Create Banquet Event Orders (BEOs) and catering agreements in appropriate system and submit for client signature in accordance with venue deadlines.
• Work closely with the culinary and operations team to develop menus.
• Promptly respond to all client correspondence, phone, and email, including initial inquiry correspondence, proposal development for qualified leads, and all follow-up as necessary to secure business.
• Proactively engage in networking and other lead generation activities.
• Aid in the preparation of end-of-month financial reports.
• Attend in-service and/or safety meetings as required.
• Maintain a clean and safe work environment; ability to perform job safely.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
