Catering Event Coordinator

Responsibilities

• Cooking and serving meals
• Coordinating with customers for room set up and final service instructions
• Consulting with culinary staff for proper plate design and serving of meals
• Serving as the wedding coordinator for BYU Catering
• Supervising student staff at events
• Consulting with custodial services regarding room setup
• Assisting with training of student staff by conducting or participating in training meetings

Qualifications

• A firm commitment to the mission of BYU
• Two years of experience in catering or a related food service business

Pay and Benefits

• Pay Grade: 49
• Typical Starting Pay: $22.75 to $29.50 per hour (depending on experience)
