About the role

Seeking a student in the Raleigh/Cary NC area with background/expertise in museum/archival/library sciences and/or studies for part-time work starting immediately assisting with expanding and completing an already existing catalog of books, artwork, and material culture pieces that are part of a private collection.

Responsibilities

• Assist with expanding and completing an existing catalog of books, artwork, and material culture pieces from a private collection.

Requirements

• Background/expertise in museum/archival/library sciences or related studies.
• Good working knowledge of Excel and standard catalogue protocols.
• Skill/experience handling rare, fragile, or old books and materials.
• References may be requested.
