Responsibilities
- Serve as a subject matter expert on casualty claims policies and best practices
- Partner with claims teams to develop resolution strategies for optimal outcomes
- Collaborate with leadership on claim strategy, including reserving and litigation management
- Provide guidance on high-exposure or complex claims
- Monitor reserve development trends and evaluate team performance
- Act as escalation point for complex claims issues
- Lead claim roundtables and case discussions for strategic alignment
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent relevant experience
- 10+ years of casualty claims experience in progressively responsible roles
- Applicable state licenses required
- Preferred insurance designations (AIC, CIC, AIM, CPCU)
- Superior knowledge of casualty claims function and best practices
