Position Summary Project-based communications supportResponsible for drafting materials, op-eds, articles, and speeches for the Office of the President Reports to: Deputy Chief of Staff/Chief of Staff Position Responsibilities Draft speeches, op-eds, articles, scholarly Jewish articles, business communications, donor communications, and other written materials for the Office of the PresidentManage writing projects from start to finish, including establishing timelines, incorporating edits, proofreading final materials, and preparing them for submissionCollaborate with stakeholders throughout the writing process, respond to feedback, and incorporate revisions in a timely manner.Manage multiple projects simultaneously while meeting deadlines and proactively communicating project status to ensure work remains on trackProduce high-quality written materials tailored to a variety of audiences, including internal, external, academic, business, donor, and published communications Experience & Education Background Bachelor's degree in English, Communications, Journalism, or a related field5 to 7 years of professional experience in writing, communications, or a related fieldExperience writing speeches, articles, business communications, donor communications, and other materials for a variety of audiences Skills & Competencies Superior writing, editing, and proofreading experienceExperience working on tight deadlines and presenting quality draftsExperience writing for different audiences (internal, external, published articles)Demonstrated ability to assimilate complex information, understand multifaceted concepts, and translate these into compelling prose Salary Range: $35 - $85 per hour About Us Yeshiva University is dedicated to academic excellence, intellectual exploration, and the advancement of timeless values that shape and impact lives.
