About the role

Part-time Box Office Cashier, Concession Attendant, and Usher/Doorman positions at Malco Theatres – Oxford Commons Cinema Grill. They create a welcome environment for patrons. Sells tickets to movies and special events, provides movie and event information, enforces theatre admission policies. Responsible for security of cash and tickets. Maintains and cleans Box Office area.

Responsibilities

• Box Office Cashier: Cheerfully greets patrons.
• Box Office Cashier: Provides movie, special event, and general theatre information.
• Box Office Cashier: Accurately sells tickets, accept payments, and makes change.
• Box Office Cashier: Properly operates Point of Sale terminals and ticket printers.
• Box Office Cashier: Properly operates and effectively communicates on a two-way radio.
• Box Office Cashier: Follow MPA film rating guidelines when selling admission tickets.
• Box Office Cashier: Follows theatre policies for selling admission tickets.
• Box Office Cashier: Answers the telephone courteously and professionally.
• Box Office Cashier: Keeps box office area clean and stocked with supplies.
• Box Office Cashier: Watches for safety issues (trip hazards, suspicious persons, etc.) and reports to management.
• Concession Attendant: Provides services to customers in a friendly and efficient manner.
• Concession Attendant: Serves food in proper pre-determined portion sizes.
• Concession Attendant: Maintains adequate food/supplies.
• Concession Attendant: Cleans concession, including serving area continually.
• Concession Attendant: Uses popper to prepare popcorn as needed and attend concession equipment.
• Concession Attendant: Cleans concession area before and after business hours.
• Concession Attendant: Maintains the appearance of all equipment and serving counters.
• Concession Attendant: Assures menu items are prepared in sufficient quantities to satisfy volumes.
• Concession Attendant: Receives deliveries when assigned.
• Concession Attendant: Performs other related duties as required.
• Usher/Doorman: Provides services to customers in a friendly and efficient manner.
• Usher/Doorman: Manage crowd control and assist patrons in finding seating when necessary.
• Usher/Doorman: Cleans and inspects auditoriums
• Usher/Doorman: Assist with patrons' special needs, such as helping those with wheelchairs.
• Usher/Doorman: Maintain order and ensure adherence to safety rules.
• Usher/Doorman: Assist patrons with questions or complaints.
• Usher/Doorman: Inspect backpacks and packages when applicable.
• Usher/Doorman: Performs other related duties as required.
