Casino Floor Server

About the role

The incumbent in this position is responsible for providing excellent customer service while mixing and serving food and drinks (alcoholic and non‑alcoholic) to patrons, and practices, supports, and maintains the Mission, Vision and Values of the Casino.

Responsibilities

• Serve beverages to Casino customers as established by the department.
• Uphold the highest standard of customer service and provide the best possible experience for guests.
• Responsible for the security and accuracy of assigned checks and accountable for any overages or shortages.
• Keep cocktail server station clean and orderly.
• Act as a guest service representative by providing information about the facility and maintaining professional body language and attitude.
• Alert management to guests who are intoxicated or under 21.
• Enhance the company’s objective to provide an entertaining environment through maintenance of visual appearance according to department standards.
• Communicate effectively with customers and co‑workers.
• Work effectively throughout the casino floor and bar areas, moving efficiently in an environment subject to varying levels of noise, crowds, and smoke.
• Carry a serving tray weighing up to 10 pounds throughout an 8‑hour shift while serving drinks.
• Document and comprehend drink orders.
• Perform other tasks as assigned.

Requirements

• Must be 21 years of age.
• Must meet established department appearance standards.
• Ability to secure and maintain a STATE OR TRIBAL Gaming License.

Qualifications

The skills and abilities necessary to perform within this position are typically acquired through two months of on‑the‑job training or through related experience.
