About the role
This position monitors licensed gaming operations to help protect the public interest by ensuring the integrity of legalized gaming. The role involves observing casino operations, analyzing compliance data, and supporting enforcement actions to maintain fairness and accuracy in gaming activities.
Responsibilities
- Monitor activity of staff and patrons to verify compliance with rules, procedures, controls, and other requirements
- Work with electronic and manual recording and information systems as well as casino gaming devices including slot machines
- Review recordings, reports, and other documentation to identify issues that may require further action
- Write incident reports to communicate findings, potential violations, and recommendations for next steps when appropriate
- Respond to questions and help patrons with self-exclusion process as needed
- Refer or recommend administrative, legal, or criminal actions to the appropriate offices or authorities
Requirements
- Two years of experience performing gaming assignments related to slot machines, gaming software, surveillance or sports wagering; or
- Associate’s Degree in a criminal justice, accounting or gaming related field; or
- An equivalent combination of experience and training
Preferred Qualifications
- Two years of experience in incident report writing

Employment is contingent upon the completion of a Personal History Questionnaire with a thorough background investigation, including drug screening and subsequent review and approval by the Board.
