Cashier, F&B - Swing Shift

Oak Grove Racing, Gaming & Hotel (the “Property”) is a newer facility in a high traffic area in the heart of Oak Grove, Kentucky, and across the street from a large Army post, Ft. Campbell. The Property is 10 miles from Clarksville, TN and less than 60 miles northwest of downtown Nashville, TN.

About the role

The F&B Cashier will ensure consistent quality products, responsible for the preparation and sale of all food items per menu standards.

Responsibilities

• Provide excellent guest service to both internal and external guests
• Greet guests approaching service area
• Prepare and sell all food items on the menu and handle all cash transactions
• Clean and sanitize all food service equipment used to prepare and serve menu items
• Operate all equipment in the stand
• Maintain current knowledge of daily menus and prices
• Ensure proper stock of product and supplies needed for service
• Perform opening and closing inventories
• Ensure the safety and security of employees and guests
• Perform clean-up duties in the stand to maintain quality appearance of the work area, including cleaning equipment
• Stand for 8-10 hours
• Other duties as assigned

Requirements

• Knowledge of concession stand operations
• Maintain interpersonal working relationships among all personnel
• Treat all internal and external guests in a manner to ensure complete satisfaction, always striving to exceed expectations
• Excellent guest service skills; ability to adhere to Company’s Service Standards
• Able to interact with internal and external guests in a friendly and fast manner
• Ability to work effectively with others
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
• Oral and written communication skills
• Willingness to work flexible hours and handle high-pressure situations in an interruptive environment
• Available to work when needed, including weekends, holidays, and nights
• High school diploma or equivalent preferred
• Customer Service or Food & Beverage experience is preferred
• Able to obtain and maintain a valid Kentucky gaming/racing license
