Position Overview
Position Title: Cash Management Specialist 3
Business Unit: Small Business Banking
Reports to: Portfolio Management Manager - Small Business Banking
Primary Responsibilities
- Lead Advanced Cash-Management Conversations with Small Business Clients
- Conduct in-depth consultations with business clients to understand their revenue cycles, payment-collection challenges, working-capital needs, and overall cash-flow patterns.
- Analyze operational workflows related to billing, invoicing, payment processing, receivables posting, and financial-operations management.
- Deliver Complex Payment and Treasury Solutions
- Position advanced payment and treasury tools and Recommend treasury products that support day-to-day business operations.
- Ensure clients understand onboarding processes, adoption strategies, compliance implications, and security requirements associated with payment and treasury products.
- Strategic Engagement with Teams & Cash-Management Specialists
- Lead by driving strategic discussions for complex client-needs assessments. Reinforce sales excellence through sales processes, CRM utilization, and data-driven portfolio management.
- Champion best-practices across the network, fostering a culture of improvement and proactive opportunity identification.
- Support Growth of Strategic Client Relationships
- Identify high-value opportunities within the client portfolio—such as expansion plans, staffing growth, capital investment, or operational upgrades. Deepen relationships with established clients by uncovering additional operational, financial, and strategic needs.
- Collaborate with Internal Sales, Product, and Treasury Partners
- Partner closely with Treasury Management, Merchant Services, Credit, and product-specialist teams to deliver fully integrated client solutions. Share insights from client interactions to support product refinement and strategic planning.
- Performs other related duties and projects as assigned.

- Knowledge and understanding of Treasury management and merchant processes is preferred
- Licensures/Certifications Required
- Certified Treasury Professional or comparable certification required
