Position Overview

Position Title: Cash Management Specialist 2
Business Unit: Small Business Banking
Reports to: Portfolio Management Manager-Small Business Banking

Primary Responsibilities

  • Lead Cash Management Conversations with Small Business Clients: Facilitate in-depth discussions with clients on payables, receivables, cash-flow efficiency, and fraud mitigation. Assess sophisticated financial workflows and recommend tailored solutions. Serve as the escalation point for advanced client needs and payment challenges.
  • Deliver Comprehensive Cash-Management & Payment Solutions: Position a full suite of cash-management tools, including merchant services, treasury products, digital payment platforms, and fraud-prevention solutions. Ensure clients understand and confidently adopt recommended tools while providing expert guidance on process improvements that support scalable operations.
  • Engagement with Branches & Cash Management Specialists: Provide hands-on coaching and skill development for bankers and Cash Management Specialists while joining branch meetings to discuss cash-flow improvement, payments, fraud risks, and client-needs assessment. Promote consistent sales behaviors, effective CRM use, and strong client-engagement practices across the network.
  • Support Growth of Client Relationships: Drive advanced outreach to identify high-value opportunities in the small business segment, expand existing relationships by uncovering deeper needs and recommending broader solutions, and strengthen long-term loyalty through proactive follow-up and ongoing consultation.
  • Collaborating with Internal Partners Across the Organization: Partner with Branch Managers, Business Development Officers, Treasury Management, Merchant Services, and other teams to coordinate strategy and support clients. Provide insight into client trends, risks, and emerging needs to influence decisions and product enhancements, and serve as a resource on complex payment topics.
