Cash Applications Lead - Accounts Receivable

Role Overview: The Cash Applications Lead provides operational support for Cash Applications within the United States, focusing on accurate payment posting, reconciliation, and issue resolution. Key Responsibilities Support timely application of customer payments via checks, ACH, wire transfers, and more.Research and resolve unapplied cash, discrepancies, and posting errors.Partner with internal teams to obtain missing remittance info and resolve account issues.Coordinate daily workloads, review work for accuracy, and support team members through training and guidance.Monitor service levels, identify process improvement opportunities, and support compliance with policies and controls.Build strong cross-functional relationships to ensure efficient payment processing and issue resolution. Qualifications & Skills Minimum two years of experience in Accounts Receivable, Cash Applications, or related fields.Experience applying payments, reconciling accounts, and resolving discrepancies.Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and familiarity with ERP systems like Oracle preferred.Strong attention to detail, problem-solving, communication, and organizational skills.Ability to manage priorities independently and collaborate effectively within a team. Additional Details: This hybrid role requires three days weekly in the Nashville office, offering growth opportunities in a lead-level position without direct reports.
