Cash Application Coordinator - Remote, US

About the role

The Cash Application Coordinator at Sarah Cannon Research Institute (SCRI) plays a crucial role in ensuring accurate financial transactions. This position is remote and requires a strong commitment to mission-driven work in oncology.

Responsibilities

• Transactional line-item cash posting into proprietary systems based on remittance detail provided by pharmaceutical companies
• Recognizing missed revenue opportunities by reconciling payment detail to financial tracking rates to determine discrepancies and communicate these to accounting
• Avoiding errors in cash postings by contacting pharmaceutical companies to verify payment remittance detail
• Reviewing, interpreting, and discussing remittances from clients for data accuracy
• Performing other duties as assigned

Qualifications

• A degree in a related field is preferred, but an Associate's Degree is highly preferred
• One year of work experience in a medical office, hospital, clinical research, or pharmaceutical corporation is preferred
• One year of work experience in a position requiring exceptional attention to detail and organizational skills is required
• Advanced knowledge and experience with all MS Office products, including Excel, is required
• Basic financial operations knowledge, including general ledger and cash system functionalities, is required

Pay

The compensation for this role is determined by several factors, including performance, experience, skills, equity, regular job market evaluations, and geographical markets. In addition to base pay, other compensation, such as an annual bonus or long-term incentive opportunities, may be offered.
