Case Manager Supervisor, AIC
About the role
The AIC, or Alternative in the Community program, is a community-based alternative to incarceration that provides multifaceted intervention services for offenders awaiting trial, probation, or parole. The program uses Motivational Interviewing techniques and evidence-based models to assess and address individual risk factors.
Responsibilities
- Carry a caseload as required by program needs, including counseling, case record management, intake assessment, discharge preparation, aftercare services, security, and resource management.
- Supervise Case Manager staff, focusing on both security and case management.
- Review and monitor client-related paperwork, ensuring content, timeliness, and quality.
- Maintain and evaluate group activities on an ongoing basis.
- Assist in developing, leading, and supervising client group meetings, program services, and counseling sessions.
- Monitor and evaluate staff performance and provide regular feedback to the program director.
- Perform functions of a human service worker/case manager, including client supervision, custody, searches, facility rounds, counts, and urine surveillance as needed.
- Participate in on-call agency duty officer rotations as assigned.
- Participate in weekly staff meetings and assist the program director in setting agendas.
- Assist the program director in setting and enforcing policies and procedures.
- Perform other duties as assigned by the supervisor.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in a social science field and two years’ experience in case management or similar field.
- One year experience in management and supervision of staff or three years of case management experience.
- Excellent oral, written, and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to engage and develop collaborations with community agencies.
- Previous assessment experience preferred.
- Experience with Microsoft Office.

$58,656.00 annually
Schedule
Monday/Wednesday/Friday 9:00am to 5:00pm and Tuesday/Thursday 12:00pm to 8:00pm
