About the role

Enhanced Adult Mental Health Services (EAMH) provides services to individuals with an SPMI diagnosis in an outpatient setting and in the community as needed. We work from a team-based model to support our clients with a variety of services to help build skills for stability and independence.

Responsibilities

  • Client orientation and treatment plan input
  • Case coordination and referral management
  • Individual and group skills training
  • Social, educational, and recreational activity organization
  • Job search assistance and advocacy
  • Psychiatric medical appointment attendance
  • Client progress evaluation and reporting
  • Service and resource referrals
  • Emergency problem resolution and client advocacy
  • Providing clinical support to clients with immediate needs
  • Participation in team tasks and cultural sensitivity training

Requirements

  • QMHA credential certification through MHACBO
  • Bachelor's degree in Psychology, Counseling, Social Work or a mental health related field OR 3 years of prior experience in the counseling field
  • Demonstrated ability to communicate effectively and understand mental health assessment, treatment, and service terminology
  • Ability to provide culturally-competent treatment services and maintain cooperative relationships
  • Demonstrated ability to provide psychosocial skills training and implement elements of a treatment plan
  • Knowledge of community resources and treatment agencies for appropriate referrals
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Outlook and Word
  • Valid and active QMHA credential certification through MHACBO

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Psychology, Counseling, Social Work or a mental health related field
  • Minimum of 3 years of prior experience with the related population in the counseling field
  • Valid and active QMHA credential certification through MHACBO
  • Knowledge of community resources and treatment agencies enabling appropriate referrals for specific client needs
  • Proficient in Microsoft Outlook and Word
  • Valid driver's license, proof of current automobile insurance coverage, verification of safe driving record from DMV, and ability to meet LWNW driving requirements

Benefits

The position offers a competitive salary range of $25.39-$32.71 per hour plus full benefits. Final salary offers are made in alignment with internal compensation processes in accordance with Oregon Pay Equity laws.
