Case Manager - Crisis Intervention - MRSS

About the role

Catholic Charities of the Archdiocese of Newark is currently seeking Full Time Case Managers for our Mobile Response & Stabilization Services Program located in Jersey City, NJ.

Responsibilities

• Provide in-home and community based crisis de-escalation/intervention and assessment, safety planning as well as stabilization and case management services to families and children according to the families' individualized service needs
• Coordination of discharge/transition services to include referral and linkages to services and supports appropriate to the level of need of the child/family
• Responds to calls received through a centralized screening entity that determines the need for MRSS services. Must respond to calls within 1 hour, as per contract requirements
• Provides services 24/7/365 days a year, within 1 hour of the referrals received

Requirements

• Bachelor Degree in social work or a related field
• Valid driver’s license
• Bilingual fluency in English and Spanish preferred but not required
• One year of experience working with children and families, particularly in crisis assessment and intervention, is preferred but not required

Qualifications

• Must have a valid driver’s license
• Must be fluent in English and Spanish
