About the role

The Neurodevelopmental Services program at Pacific Clinics uses a range of evidence-based practices to support neurodivergent and disabled communities. Our goal is to empower individuals and their families through treatment, training, and research.

Program Description

Pacific Clinics' Neurodevelopmental Services program serves neurodivergent individuals and families in San Bernardino and Riverside counties. Services include crisis stabilization, mental health support, play therapy, and more. The program works to ensure that clients receive the least restrictive home placements possible, respecting their dignity and right to self-determination.

Compensation

The initial compensation for this position ranges from $25.31 - $31.12 per hour, depending on experience, location, and internal equity considerations. Additionally, there is an 8% license differential for LMFT, LCSW, LPCC, PsyD., and select peer certifications, and a 5% bilingual differential for qualified positions.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Psychology, Social Work, Social Welfare, Education or related field and one (1) year of experience required, or equivalent combination of education and experience (two years of relevant experience equals one year of education).
  • Bilingual in Spanish required.

Job Summary

Under direct supervision, provides case management support to ensure neurodiverse-affirming practices, crisis stabilization, and placement in the least restrictive home setting for neurodivergent clients. Promotes client dignity and right to self-determination in all aspects of services.

Responsibilities

  • Collaborates with neurodivergent clients, caregivers, and ancillary services providers to ensure long-term community-based natural supports.
  • Provides intensive short-term crisis supports and safety planning to neurodivergent clients and their families.
  • Maintains ongoing communication and provides pertinent information to and coordinates with authorized representatives and other team members, participating in meetings such as client/family teams.
  • Develops, reviews, updates, and ensures implementation of strength-based service plans for each client, including safety plans and legal issues, as needed.
  • Rotates participation in crisis quick response services for after-hour emergencies to de-escalate crises and respond in person if necessary.
  • Completes all documentation in compliance with agency and regulatory requirements.
  • Performs other related responsibilities, as assigned, to support specific department/business needs.
