Case Manager / Counselor - (Bachelor's) Knox, Blount, & Anderson

The McNabb Center is hiring for multiple bachelor’s-level positions across Knox, Blount, and Anderson Counties, Tennessee, focused on mental health and social services.

About the Role

Join a mission-driven team dedicated to improving lives through client-centered care, advocacy, and support. Positions include Case Managers, Specialists, Counselors, and Residential Counselors, with opportunities for both non-residential and residential settings.

Responsibilities

• Case Managers: Provide care coordination, develop treatment plans, offer advocacy, transportation (as needed), and follow-up support for a defined caseload.
• Specialists & Counselors: Deliver individualized support, advocacy, education, and referrals, including home visits, employment assistance, family support, and child development education.
• Residential Counselors: Work in 24/7 facilities to provide direct client care, including intake assessments, safety checks, group facilitation, and crisis stabilization.

• Specialist & Counselor Roles: Foster Care Specialist, Knox Co. OA Peer Recovery Specialist, IPS Employment Specialist
• Residential Facilities: Katie Miller & Gateway (Adolescent Residential Treatment), ILS (Long-Term Mental Health Housing), CenterPointe Detox & Residential Treatment, Crisis Stabilization Units (Knox, Hamblen, and Children’s Hospital)

Requirements

• Driver’s license and reliable personal vehicle required for most roles.
• On-call responsibilities and travel requirements vary by position.
• PRN (as-needed) opportunities available.
• F-Endorsement driver's license may be required for positions involving client transportation.
• Background checks, driver’s license record, degree verification, and drug screens conducted at hire. Employment contingent upon clean results.
• Certain programs may require TB screening/testing.

Pay

• Case Managers: $17.97 – $19.92/hour (based on education, experience, and position type)
• Specialists & Counselors: $17.93 – $19.72/hour (based on position, education, and experience)
• Residential Counselors: $19.35/hour (bachelor’s level)

Shift differentials available for 2nd and 3rd shifts in residential roles.

Schedule

Residential Counselor positions may include evening, overnight, weekend, and holiday shifts.
