Case Management Supervisor - Mental Health Clinic

Under the direction of the program manager, provides supervision and direction and training to a team of case managers, and provides suggestions and recommendations to the program manager regarding the hiring, advancement, and progressive discipline of case managers and potential case managers on their team. The coordinator also maintains a caseload with the same responsibilities as the case managers.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree from an accredited four-year college or university required
• Licensed as a social worker (any level), RN, or counselor; or Master’s degree from an accredited institution of higher education preferred
• Five or more years of case management experience
• Evidence of superior case management skills in terms of ability to engage clients, treatment planning, networking, service delivery, administrative protocols, and professional conduct
• Maintains auto insurance as acceptable by minimum standards; names Mojave as an additional insured/interested party and maintains “business use” on policy during course of employment
• Automobile in good working condition, in order to transport clients if needed
• Current and valid driver’s license
• Must pass drug screen and background investigation
• Legally authorized to work in the United States (UNLV Health does not provide employment sponsorships or sponsorship transfers for any positions)

Physical Requirements

• May include standing, sitting, and/or walking for extended periods
• May include performing repetitive tasks
• May include working on a special schedule (i.e., evenings and weekends with clients)
• May include working with challenging patients and clients

Schedule

Clinic hours are Monday through Friday, 8 AM to 5 PM (actual hours may vary depending on business need).
