Mental Health Case Manager - Therapist
About the role
Provides case management/therapy for patients and families to enhance their psychosocial functioning. Performs duties and responsibilities in a manner consistent with mission, values, and Mercy service standards.
Team environment
The team currently includes four therapists and PRN support. Therapists typically see an average of six clients per day in one-hour sessions, with dedicated time built into the schedule for lunch, documentation, care plans, insurance and court paperwork, school coordination, and family communication. Most services are provided on-site and in person; however, flexible scheduling—including limited hybrid or virtual work options—is available. Overall, this role offers a supportive, structured environment with meaningful flexibility.
Qualifications
- Education: Master's degree required in Social Work
- Licensure: Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW)
- Experience: Minimum 2-3 years Behavioral Health experience preferred
- Co-worker must be able to communicate orally, in writing and demonstrate proficient computer skills
- Co-worker must be able to listen and to understand and explain complex situations
