CASE Building & Event Coordinator
Job Summary
The Enrollment Management division at CU Boulder welcomes applications for the CASE Building & Event Coordinator position! This role helps keep the Center for Academic Success & Engagement (CASE) running smoothly while creating a welcoming experience for everyone who visits, including prospective students and families, K-12 school groups, campus partners, campus departments, and community members.
About the Role
This is a fully in-person position and is not eligible for a hybrid work arrangement. Full time position working 40 hours per week non-traditional schedule during the academic year: Monday-Thursday 12pm-9pm, Friday 10am-7pm, Week of exams 1pm-10pm. Summer semester and University academic breaks follow a traditional 8 am-5 pm schedule. Flexibility required to support evening or weekend events.
Responsibilities
- Serve as the primary contact for the CASE Services inbox, responding to questions and requests with competence, connection, confidence, character and care.
- Support space reservations and coordinate with campus partners to ensure clear communication and smooth operations.
- Help prepare and maintain meeting and event spaces before, during, and after use.
- Support evening and weekend operations as the Manager on Duty.
- Maintain organized event documentation and reservation records.
- Aid in coordinating event details including room setups, technology needs, catering, accessibility accommodations, and event requirements.
- Assist with prospective and admitted student events across campus.
- Manage multiple events and priorities simultaneously while maintaining attention to detail.
- Support CASE Welcome Desk operations and student employees.
- Assist with training, coverage, and answering questions.
- Help create a welcoming and inclusive experience for campus visitors.
- Assist with campus visit programs, special events, and enrollment initiatives throughout the year.
- Participate in committee work, professional development opportunities, and team projects.
- Other duties as assigned.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent customer service experience can substitute for the degree on a year-for-year basis.
- One year of similar job related experience.
