Case Aide - Transitional Support Services

Overview Of Primary Responsibilities

In this role, you will support the Caseworker by assisting with client services and day-to-day tasks.

Primary Functions

• Function as an assistant to the Caseworker
• Provide transportation for clients to medical appointments/Family Court or other appointments deemed necessary by the supervisor
• Aid caseworkers with transporting of families and supervise visitation between parent and child when such is required by the Orange County Department of Social Services
• Perform a variety of clerical duties while at the job site.

Qualifications And Attributes

The ideal candidate will have:

• A valid driver’s license is required
• Good communication skills and the ability to work with families from diverse cultures and backgrounds

• A high school diploma or equivalent is preferred

• Must be capable to sit or stand in front of a computer for long periods of time
• Must be capable to move throughout work day and follow people served throughout community
• Work alongside co-workers within 3 feet
