Case Administrator
Job Description
The opportunity:
In this position, you will be a member of the Group Benefits Claims Shared Services team working on short term disability claims, with a specific focus on claim setup. This position will primarily be a production role, requiring the ability to regularly manage a high volume of tasks, adjust priorities when necessary based on the impact to our clients and effectively manage time.
How you will contribute
- Review new Short Term Disability (STD) documents
- Manage the special handling policies
- Participate in department initiatives and projects as needed
- Provide support to other teams in Shared Services
- Serve as an SME for new hires
- Set up new STD claims in Ultera, CHESS and GCS claim systems
- Participate in training other team members as needed
- Provide input and recommendations and analysis to Management on business process
What you will bring with you
- Proficiency with Windows and Microsoft applications (MS Excel, MS Word)
- Good communication (oral and written) skills
- Excellent time management skill is required
- Ability to work in a fast paced, high volume and deadline driven environment
- Bachelor’s Degree, preferred
- Ability to work with a diverse range of people
- Ability to work and solve problems independently
- A strong working knowledge of systems applications, and be comfortable using computers
- Ability to work independently or part of a team
Pay and Benefits
Salary Range: $38,600 - $52,100

Your actual base salary will be determined based on your unique skills, qualifications, experience, education, and geographic location. In addition to your base salary, this position is eligible for a discretionary annual incentive award based on your individual performance as well as the overall performance of the business.
